How do we work?
We often go back to the beginning and reinforce basic knowledge in a fun way, playing games and learning rhymes as the personal interaction is the most important part of cementing tricky topics. When students enjoy learning, they relax and see themselves as able to achieve. We quickly acknowledge success and students begin to believe in themselves once again.
The good thing about the 1:1 and small group environment is that we can see if a student is struggling and help immediately which is essential for shy students who are reluctant to raise their hands and ask for help. Once students have mastered a topic, they can embed the knowledge with homework, which is rewarded with prizes.

Below is an overview of some of the things that we cover but it is important to remember that tuition is tailored to your child's needs and so it will not be the same for every child!
KS2
(Year 3 - Year 6)
Our KS2 lessons ensure our students are in good stead to successfully answer any questions that may be presented to them. We will start to develop their question comprehension, word endings, multiplication and many more areas. They are taught a solid foundation in Year 3 and 4 and this gets progressively more challenging as they move into Year 5 and 6. In Year 6, there is a particular focus on preparing students for the KS2 SATS.

We are able to clearly see specific strengths and weaknesses of a child that may affect them. We are then able to target these areas and ensure each child is well rounded and develops those weaker points.
